How weeks come and go...

Weeks come and go and this past week was no different. Lots has gone from little old confused me to a lot of laughs along the way. Firstly the ceiling above my desk is still leaking which I don't mind because it keeps me entertained but have been promised it would be sorted! *Hint Hint*.
Sketch book continues and I am beginning to love Crating and the advantages of drawing in a more 3D nature rather than relying on shading and different biro tones. I love working with different shades of pencil from 8B to 5H they all offer a different way of working.
I began looking at the bathroom and felt inspired by deconstructing and reconstruction a bath tap and a shower head. The sketches speak for themselves and have demonstrated a range of different perspectives and ways of manipulating them. Crating has inspired me to lift my work.
Artists inspire me as much as my family and song lyrics, Emil Alzamora is an inspirational artist who looks at creating extraordinary pieces of work that he often distorts, elongates, deconstructs, or encases his forms to reveal an emotional or physical situation, or to tell a story. I am fascinated by his work and felt inspired by a number of his pieces, 2 being where he takes a simple object and layers matter over the top which was finished in porcelain. This has inspired me to do it myself as I move forward to my final pieces which I am developing at the moment.

What a week it has been, not just in College but in my personal life!
People are heading to Uni and my best friends have departed to start a new life. I felt I have left a heart-print in there hearts and hope they don't forget my key principle in life! Be who you want to be, not what others want to see. Be yourself and never regret a moment in your life! I wish them every success in the future but am looking to spending a year at home with my amazing peers that are on Foundation and loving my time! Hard times ahead!! Anyhoo, Since my last post I turned 20 years old! 2 Decades guys, now classed as Vintage... Well, Vintage in Denial.
