Hey Guys, The past few weeks have been a whirlwind and a lot has happened! Firstly I turned down University to continue my studies and refine my skills and have a wonderful Partner!
This is my first blog which is called Vintage in Denial which is about looking at my progress through my Art Foundation, I am a lover of anything and everything vintage, the idea behind the title was that Vintage has been made contemporary and people see everything as Vintage. Vintage is classed as any object 20 years old from the day it was made.
The picture represents the idea of combining contemporary with Vintage as the shower head represents the idea of a flower and the absorption of water. I will continue to build on the image and play around different perspectives. The idea of combining the old with the new but in a new and twisted way enables me to manipulate the individual elements within!
My blog represents who I am and what I want to be.
So far at College I have looked at pottery and perspective, Also Construction and Deconstruction which involves drawing objects in different ways and manipulating them in different methods and way, also I began looking at crating which involved the drawing of boxes and drawing objects within them! I enjoyed my day and I am looking forward to the week ahead and continuing my blog!!
Guys I hope you will continue to help my build on my blog and the content that should be placed within it, I have been inspired by my tutors and Chelsea who is a big influence, she knows what works and how design is created. My best friend!
