From the Toybox to the Paperbox...

Vintage Myth - Only a mint-perfect garment is worth buying.

'If you want to think in terms of colour, you have to have imagination. If you have no imagination you will never be a good colourist. It is necessary to copy nature with imagination , this is what makes a good artist. Colour ought to be through, dreamed, imagined, this is what makes an artist!'

As Foundation Art continues and elements of life change I continue to ponder on what makes the perfect artist? What makes the perfect development stages to ones work?
The answer to both these questions is that there isn't one which makes creating and delivering work can remain and become even more challenging.

Finishing ceramics has become a blessing to me and we didn't get on and felt like a drowning in treacle most of the time. I was becoming impatient with it and would never adopt it as my future trade! The clay was ruthless, one wrong move and you where gone. The toy box represents the idea of that all the fun and games are over now and the serious work must begin!
Currently we are now looking at Paper Fashion and how that influences design and the way paper can be manipulated and worked with.
This project is more my thing as it involves looking at and using my favourite thing!
